Your own cutting-edge Content Management System (CMS) based website, set up, hosted and maintained for as little as $200 and then $25 a month! The minimal website, consisting of "Home", "About" and "Contact" pages using your content on a domain registered for you, will probably cost you around $200 if you select an already existing template, to which we can add your text, photos and artwork. Additionally, there will be a minimum $25 per month service and maintenance fee per domain or website if you choose to have us manage your site. That fee will include one page-change per month if you provide the content, and an assurance that the site's files and databases are always backed up, and that the site is always populated with the latest versions of whatever software is deployed. Higher rates apply depending upon site complexity.
The installation and initial configuration of an online store using either Virtuemart (for Joomla!) or Ubercart for Drupal will incur an additional minimum fee of at least $200, and $25 an hour thereafter for administration, maintenance, and/or customization. Of course, such maintenance may be little-needed if your organization is rather static, and especially if you decide to post your own content to the site, which is a purpose of implementing such a system in the first place but which is not a requirement. The benefit of these systems is that they are well-known, secure and popular open-source systems and your organization will never be beholden to any single individual or company for maintenance or updates.
If you do not need your own website, but would rather have just a single page on NorwichShops.com, ChenangoShops.com, ShopChenango.com, ChenangoNY.net or PlymouthNY.net, we will post your page on one of our sites for as little as $30 per year, if you provide the content. This page will have a static address (i.e. http://norwichshops.com/yourbusiness). It will include a menu link from the main page. You can use this as your own website in your business literature, and post information there for your customers. Changes may be made to your page at our standard rates ($10 minimum billing would cover most changes). Posting the same page at additional Plymouth Internet Services websites will be discounted. The page will include a link from the front page of the site it resides on. We are willing to make customized arrangements to suit your business needs.Pages may be accompanied with an email address and Web-based email account access for an additional $10 per year (i.e. yourbusiness@norwichshops.com).
eCommerce requirements vary greatly from business to business. We will do our best from the beginning to evaluate all of your requirements and select the most viable solution matching your business needs. A simple solution enabling you to sell a couple of items from your website is rather easy to configure and may incur very little additional cost. More complex online stores can take much longer to set up, and therefore will be billed accordingly, at the same rates as our other services mentioned above.
Any additions or changes to your website will be billed at a base rate of $40 per hour, or $12 per 15-minute increment if less than an hour is billed on any given day. Typically, a minor page change would be billed at 15 minutes, yet multiple page changes may not take any longer. We shall also offer you email and mailing list administration, which will be billed at the same rates. The first 15-minute increment will be included in the monthly maintenance fee. A periodic inspection of your site, webspace, and content will also be included. Our goal is to provide you with a low-cost, yet truly complete internet service.
